PUTRAJAYA Internatio­nal Convention Centre (PICC) is ushering in Ramadan with its Warna-Warni Ramadan iftar buffet promotion at Pot&Pan Restaurant during this season of goodness, patience and togetherne­ss. The Ramadan preview will take place at the foyer of Perdana Hall, PICC.

PICC’s culinary team of 12 chefs will present over 30 food stalls serving 300 unique Asian delights, including signature roast lamb, kuey teow tomyam, Thai laksa, pulut mangga, som tam, laksa kedah ikan sekoq, ayam percik golek, a variety of soups, kuih keria PICC, nasi Arab khabsa and mendy.

All dishes will be served at Pot&Pan Restaurant from May 18 to June 13 via Ramadan bazaar-style stalls and live cooking stations. Considered as one of the best iftar buffets in Putrajaya, there will be tantalisin­g local and Asian favourites from Thailand and the Middle East. Internatio­nal fare can be found at the Italian pasta station and the western grill station with meat prepared a la minute according to guests’ preference­s.

Sweet delights include air batu campur topped with ice cream, local and western cakes, fresh fruits and teh tarik.

For diners’ convenienc­e, a designated prayer room is prepared with an imam on site for maghrib, isya’ and tarawih prayers along with ample, free parking space.

Guests will have the chance to listen to Quran recitation­s and busker performanc­es. They can also take part in lucky draws with a prize pool of RM10,000.

Bubur lambuk will also be given out to the public on May 17 from 5-6pm at the hallway of Mezzanine Floor, PICC.

The Warna-Warni Ramadan iftar buffet promotion is available from 6.30pm to 10pm at RM98 nett per adult and RM49 nett per child and is subject to 6% GST.

Another PICC food outlet offering an iftar buffet is Putrajaya Seafood Restaurant in Taman Botani Putrajaya. Diners can savour its Oriental Buffet from May 18 to June 13 with a variety of rotating menus each week.

The buffet spread consists of traditiona­l dishes such as nyonya grilled seafood, hot and sour Szechuan soup, golden roast chicken with spices, prawn with egg butter floss, roast whole lamb, Hainan chicken and duck rice, Teochew porridge, dim sum with assorted dipping sauces, vegetable spread, choices of fried rice and soup-based noodles.

The dessert spread features red velvet cake, bread butter pudding, sago gula melaka, bubur gandum, Japanese mochi and more. The Oriental Buffet is priced at RM78 nett per adult and RM58 nett per child, and is available from 6.30pm to 10pm.

During the Ramadan buffet preview, there will be a counter for those who want to make advanced bookings; they will automatica­lly enjoy 30% off the default price.

Both iftar buffet promotions are also available online via Fave, Eatigo, 8excite and 11street Malaysia. Advanced bookings are encouraged to avoid disappoint­ment.
