Kuala Lumpur (BTHKL) invites visitors to walk down memory lane with a mix of bazaar and village settings, where the best of Malay cuisine will be served for the buka puasa buffet spread. Patrons will also be entertained with a ghazal performance.
Feast on delectable local dishes such as kerabu taugeh dan pegaga, kerabu kacang botol, kerabu daun selom, kerabu pucuk paku, kerabu ayam, ikan masin sepat, ikan masin bulu ayam, telur masin, paru-paru berlada, pedal hati aya masak cili, tempeh, acar buah, acar rampai, daging dendeng, ayam masak lada hitam and kambing masak merah.
It also offers international choices such as stir-fried crab with basil leaf, Lebanese chicken tagine, Indian style lamb masala, vegetable jelfrezi, salmon roll filled with seafood mousse on creamed spinach, mini beef steak with mushroom ragout, fried mussel with chilli and hot bean sauce, to name a few.
For a bazaar experience, there is a vast line of stall selections serving dishes such as nasi lemak lobster, ikan bakar, otak-otak, lemang, satay, pasta, oxtail soup and Uncle Bakri fried chicken.
End the meal on a sweet note with a dessert spread that includes seasonal fresh fruits, assorted Malay kuih and cookies, mango charlotte, pandan chiffon cheese cake, chocolate brownies, fruit flan, mixed berry panna cotta, agar-agar santan, apple crumble, coconut banana tart, fresh berry almond financier cake and pudding caramel.
BTHKL’s Bazaar Ramadan Buffet will be held from May 17 to June 14, 6.30pm to 10.30pm at Big Apple Restaurant, Level 14.
For the first week (May 17-20) and the last week (June 10-14) of the promotion, the price for adults will be RM128 nett, while the price for children will be RM58 nett.
From May 21 to June 9, the price for adults will be RM138 nett, while the price for children will be RM68 nett. Grab early bird vouchers now at RM100 nett per adult.
Priced at RM10 nett, The Ramadan Special: Nasi Briyani Take Away is also available with an option of chicken or lamb, prepared by BTHKL’s Chef Yusoff. The Nasi Briyani stall will open at BTHKL’s lobby between 5pm and 8pm.
