Episode 16 – Johan is taken hostage by a mentally disturbed man called Kee Tat, who gets annoyed by his hostage’s constant rambling about action movies, and demands that the police replace Johan with someone less irritating. Marie, Susan, Stephen and the uncles decide to join Johan and become hostages together, but find themselves arguing with each other about the state of the kopitiam. In the end, it is Kee Tat who shows them the error of their ways, and helps Marie create a better menu for the kopitiam. In return, they also help him with his marital woes.
