Don’t be imprisoned by joint pain
AT 59, Alex C considers himself quite healthy although he is on hypertensive medications. However, his knee pain has been increasingly bothering him the last two years. Pain relief medications give him gastritis and he dreads relying on them, knowing there are various side effects.
It seems like Alex does not have much of a choice, or does he?
The type of joint pain Alex is experiencing is degenerative joint pain – a hallmark of arthritis, of which osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common. Joint pain from arthritis does not self-resolve but instead, worsens over time. Although weight-bearing joints like the knee is often where the pain occurs, degenerative joint pain from arthritis can also affect joints of the hips, spine, shoulders and fingers.
According to an Arthritis Research UK report in 2017, 78% of patients with arthritis suffer pain on most days. As the arthritis worsens over time, patients may need assistance even for simple tasks. This loss of independence and confidence has led many into depression. Some sufferers even isolate themselves, which deepens the loneliness of being imprisoned by arthritis. The study also revealed that 65% of patients with arthritis joint pain are scared about their future.
Painkillers such as NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen, celecoxib, etoricoxib) are by far the most prescribed to manage joint pain. While NSAIDs relieve symptoms of joint pain, new evidence has emerged of adverse effects of long-term consumption.
In 2006, the Osteoarthritis Research Society International, based on evidence that showed a worsening decline in joint function and increased need for hip and knee replacements in OA patients taking NSAIDs, has advised against long-term use.
Discover proven herbal joint pain relief
Lanconone is made from seven authenticated Ayurvedic herbs in one proprietary formula. Clinically trialled against ibuprofen, Lanconone was proven to work as rapidly and effectively in relieving joint pain minus the side effects. Lanconone was also shown to support joint recovery – patients in the study regained increased mobility and ability. The seven herbs in Lanconone are commiphora mukul (Indian bdellium-tree), boswellia serrata (Indian olibanum), withania somnifera (Indian ginseng), oroxylum indicum (Indian trumpet tree), smilax China (China root), pluchea lanceolate (Rasna) and zingiber officinale (ginger).
The formulation is unique as precise parts of the herbs, which exhibit pain relief and joint supportive recovery, were specifically identified and selected in fine proportions. Moreover, this exact formula was trialled in patients with moderate to severe OA and found to be safe and effective.
Lanconone can be added to any joint treatment regime as it complements other joint pain products. Taken at the right dose of two capsules twice a day, Lanconone provides pain relief besides supporting joint recovery. Lanconone is especially useful for patients with joint pain who may be on other medications, as the major organs are already bearing the strain of medication.
Vegetarians and patients allergic to NSAIDs may also take Lanconone.
A pharmacist informed Alex about Lanconone. After being assured of its efficacy and safety, Alex started on two capsules twice daily after breakfast and dinner. Just two days later Alex realised the familiar joint stiffness had significantly reduced and he could extend his leg more and more over the next few days.
Also, Lanconone did not hurt his tummy. As weeks went by, Alex was delighted to discover he could do the things he couldn’t when stricken by joint pain.
