Adding a classier touch
DURING Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Show 2018, EPOS watch engineers found a way to take the already impressive Verso timepiece to the next level.
This year, the EPOS Oeuvre d’Art collection reveals a new version of the existing EPOS 3435 Verso watch.
The limited edition EPOS 3435 Verso 2 still shows the beautifully finished back of the Unitas 6497 movement in the front, but is now equipped with a sophisticated three– part stainless steel dial, which is a subtle eye-catcher.
Even though the timepiece looks classical, it masters the symbiosis between modern technology and traditional design.
The decision can be made between a blue-plated steel or white-lacquered dial, or a black-plated steel or white-lacquered dial, both printed with Roman figures.
Furthermore, the engraved serial number literally stands out.
Although the tripartite dial is the co-star of this creation, the beautiful sight of the skeletonised hand-wound movement remains the main attraction of the EPOS 3435 Verso 2.
While adding a new edge to this masterpiece, EPOS engineers have deliberately preserved the main characteristics of the EPOS Verso watch.
This is why the high-end decorated and finished hand-wound movement still takes a leading role in the timepiece appearance.
Moreover, the small second on the back once again assumes the function of a pulsometer.
Sporting a high-quality anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the case is available either in stainless steel or rose PVD.
The timepiece is water-resistant up to 50m, has a diameter of 43.5mm and a thickness of 11mm.
The EPOS 3435 Verso 2 is limited to 888 pieces worldwide.
Since the beginning, EPOS has been driven to produce high-quality mechanical watches with sophisticated complications.
With EPOS 3435 Verso 2, the company presents an appropriate showcase for its philosophy “Artistry in Watchmaking”.
