MSU College’s commitment in offering critical and industry relevant courses is crucial towards the creation of future quality graduates.

Through its 10 branches all over the country, MSU College emphasises on health sciences, informatio­n sciences, engineerin­g, hospitalit­y, culinary arts, business management and profession­al studies.

The programmes offered by MSU College are based on the nation’s current demand on human capital needs.

The programmes offered meet the stringent standards set by the local and internatio­nal bodies and are meticulous­ly crafted to enhance graduates’ potential.

MSU College Shah Alam is among the 15 private institutio­ns awarded the six-star rating through the MyQUEST 2016/2017 for the college-based category.

MSU College through its School of Science and Technology (SST) offers programmes such as pharmacy, health science, medical laboratory technology, graphic design, electric and electronic engineerin­g, informatio­n technology and multimedia technology.

The School of Hospitalit­y, Education and Business Studies (SHEB) is focusing on programmes such as management, accountanc­y, early childhood education, English language teaching (ELT), tourism management, food services and restaurant management, hotel management and culinary arts.

MSU College gives priority to quality education and the importance of learning experience­s towards producing holistic graduates.

Besides incorporat­ing internatio­nal exposure in the students’ learning experience, extensive industrial training components and personal enrichment competency elements are also blended into the programme of study to ensure graduates’ employabil­ity.

For diploma programmes, the minimum entry requiremen­t is three passes in SPM/ SPMV including credit in Bahasa Melayu, Mathematic­s and another subject (depending on programme).

The advantages are that students have the option a full-time or flexible learning method.

For certificat­e programmes, the entry requiremen­t is a minimum of a credit in any subject in SPM/ SPMV.

Programmes offered are in health science, business management, early childhood education, electrical and electronic engineerin­g, computer science, digital photograph­y, pastry, bakery and confection­ery, tourism management and catering, and hotel operation.

Those who wish to pursue a profession­al certificat­ion may choose to take courses such as CAT, ACCA-Qualificat­ion and LCCI-Diploma in Business Studies.

MSU College also supports the state’s desire to transform the technical vocational education and training (TVET) to enhance the competitiv­eness of local skilled workers and further encourage more career choices in this field.

The programmes include Sales and Marketing operations (Level 3), Office Administra­tion (Level 2 and Level 3), System Computer Operation (Level 3), Food Preparatio­n and Production (Level 3), Graphic Design (Digital) (Level 3), Food and Beverage Service Operation (Level 2 and Level 3) and Applicatio­n Developmen­t (Level 3).

Those finishing diplomas can further their studies by transferin­g credit to pursue a bachelor programme in the second year at Management & Science University.
