If I had a million ringgit

-

EVERYONE dreams of a windfall – a million ringgit landing on us would be nice. If I had a million ringgit, I would buy the latest sports car, travel around the world with friends and family. I would also donate some of it to orphanages and old people’s homes.

Lastly, I would give the rest of it to environmental conservation organisations to ensure the protection and safety of our environment and animals around the world.

Recently, Starchild asked readers to send in their letters on the topic: If I Had A Million Ringgit. Let’s hear what they have to say.

Pathiban Gobinathan ,11, says: “I’d donate RM500,000 to Tabung Harapan and the balance would be saved for my studies. This would help ease my parents’ burden.”

Ethan Chin Haw Wen ,9, intends to donate some of his windfall to help the government too. “I’d donate RM10,000 into Tabung Harapan. I’d buy a new car and house. I’d also donate a portion of the funds to charity,” he writes.

“If I had a million ringgit, I’d give my school some for it, so they could buy different types of textbooks and story books for each and everyone,” writes Lim Wei Xian, nine.

With a million ringgit, Bernard Jude Andrew David, seven, would like to do his part for charity. “I’d donate some money to a hospital. I love the Ford Mustang and dream of buying this car.

I’d also buy a house for my parents and myself.

I’d use the extra cash to pursue my studies on animal sciences.”

Ong Seow Suen, 12, hopes to use the money on his family. “I’d provide my parents with cash to buy whatever they want, so they could be happy.”

With plenty of money, Oh Wen Sze, nine, wants to go on vacation. The rest of the funds will be saved for future use.

“With a million ringgit, I’d go travelling to many places around the world. I’d make an investment with the rest of the money .”

Kavina Premkumar, eight, says: “With a million ringgit, I want to buy toys for myself and those in need.”

Poh Tze Shuen, 12, writes: “I’d buy a house with a million ringgit.”
