Boiling cold

Water looks like it is boiling in this experiment, but it is not hot:

You’ll need

• Large drinking glass

• Handkerchief

• Sink

• Strong rubber band

1 Pour water in glass so it is three-quarters full

2 Wet handkerchief, put over glass and push it in until it touches water Put rubber band around glass to hold handkerchief 3 Hold handkerchief and flip glass upside down over sink Pull handkerchief and rubber band so cloth is flat across mouth of glass
