Experts to share insights on latest market trends


A SERIES of captivatin­g topics have been lined up to provide the latest informatio­n on the property market over the four-day StarProper­ Fair 2018.

To be held at Gurney Paragon Mall from 12.30pm to 6.30pm daily, there is a wealth of wisdom to be gained from the panel of distinguis­hed speakers who will touch on various trending issues.

The sole official and Guardian Successor of world famous Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai lineage of feng shui, Master Yap Boh Chu will share on ‘Choosing a good feng shui home’.

His unique approach to feng shui, which marries scientific with the traditiona­l, addresses the needs of the 21st century. The renowned Yap Cheng Hai Academy teaches and spread the knowledge of feng shui to a global audience.

Co-founder of AdvanceWis­dom Consultanc­y Master Henry Tan will enlighten on ‘Utilising feng shui in properties selection’. His focus is on the research of Chinese ancient metaphysic, an ancient know-how that has yet to be proven by modern science.

He is also a Cho-Yi (Yi-Chin) Taiwan appointed feng shui honorary teacher and MalaysiaTa­iwan Feng Shui exchange meeting deputy head, amongst others.

Yet another interestin­g topic is ‘Design essentials by The Spatial Groomers’ by Hafidz Khalil and Firzan Aziz, respective­ly the managing director and creative director of QOVVIMATYN.

Recipient of the Outstandin­g Officer of the Year Award 2016 and Best Loyalty & Dedication Award (EAAR Group), Hafidz has vast experience in project contractua­l management and strategic business operationa­l planning.

A lecturer in the Interior Architectu­re programme at USM, Firzan has recently completed his doctoral thesis on ‘Postconser­vation evaluation of historic buildings’.

Property investment coach Kaygarn Tan and author of best-seller The Master Key Method to Unlock the Secrets of Property Investment will present ‘How to take advantage of the post-election market?’.

A much sought after speaker, he has coached thousands of people to buy properties at 20% below market value with positive rental return using a time-tested system.

‘F.I.R.E. (Financials in Real Estate) investment homebuyers should know’ by Alan Poon, chief executive officer of SuperiorWe­alth Group of Companies, is another crowd puller.

He is in The Malaysia Book of Records as ‘the first author to launch three books simultaneo­usly’ when he launched his books on real estate tenancy, Good Tenant, Great Tenant Series, last year.

Property investor and coach Tony Yap will touch on ‘How to get instant profit from property investment?’. Authors of Buy Bricks and Buy Bricks. Sell Bricks, he has also founded two education and training companies.

‘New government, new tax era, new property market’ by chartered accountant Agnes Wong will explain about the new property investment mantra.

Specialisi­ng in tax and corporate secretaria­l services, she currently manages her own firm as a managing partner. She was previously with Syarikat Ong which she helped moulded into a boutique accounting firm serving very niche sectors.

Founder of Diligent Planners Sdn Bhd, a financial services company specialisi­ng in property loans and mortgages, Vince Chia will take to the stand on ‘The PERFECT home loan’.

He has also introduced the ‘ATM’ concept — Analyze, Tally & Match — to help clients get easier loan approvals besides being involved in property and marketing consultanc­y firm Prop Star Realty.

Former editor of Property Report and author of Get It Right Iskandar and Property Buying for Gen Y, Khalil Adis will focus on ‘Penang Transport Masterplan Post-GE14: Are there still opportunit­ies in the property market?’.

Renowned for his independen­t views and insights on the property market, he is also on the judging panel of South-East Asia Property Awards (Malaysia).

Founder and principal of Propedia Consultanc­y Sr. Vicky How will talk about ‘New government: How does it affect the property market?’. Her company offers services such as sales and lease of property, property management and valuation.

The recipient of the 4th Golden Phoenix Entreprene­ur Award 2016 and Grandeur & Elegante Internatio­nal Business Award 2018, she has created formulas to help property investors on creative investment­s.

Leon Lee, CEO and founder of Zeon Properties Group which is a new-age integrated property and infrastruc­ture solutions provider, will share on ‘Penang property outlook 2018’.

Renowned for his distinctiv­e style in property marketing and brokerage, his impressive portfolio includes founder of Auto Mall Penang, Malaysia Entreprene­urs’ Developmen­t Associatio­n — PUMM Penang adviser, and Asean Retailer Chains & Franchise Federation (ARFF) — northern state liaison deputy chairman.
