A taste of beauty

Immerse yourself in Provence at L’Occitane’s Pop Up Cafe.

-

WANT a taste of Provence right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur? You can now journey through this picturesque region in Southeastern France right here in the city.

French beauty brand L’Occitane has created the brand’s first Petit Pop Up Cafe in Mid Valley, running from Aug 20 until 26.

“The aim of this pop up cafe is for people to experience L’Occitane through a sensorial journey to Provence,” says Clarance Boo, PR manager for L’Occitane Malaysia.

Upon arrival, be welcomed by an atmospheric scented bubble shower where you can discover the key botanical ingredients used in the brand’s famed products. There is also a bar where you can try the textures and scents of L’Occitane’s skincare range.

At an Interactive Infinity Room you can marvel at the sight of hot air balloons, transporting the Immortelle flowers over Provence’s natural landscapes.

At Malaysia’s first cafe of its kind, L’occitane Malaysia is teaming up with the executive chef from Yeast Bistronomy, Frank Denis Ruidavet, who comes with an impressive 35 years of culinary experiences at Michelin-starred restaurants throughout France, New York City, London, Maldives, Middle East, Singapore, The St Regis Bali and Kuala Lumpur.

The L’Occitane Cafe will resemble an actual cafe (so you do have to pay for your order) with proper settings, sit-down dining and a menu.

The menu will serve an array of exclusively curated desserts by Ruidavet for L’Occitane such as creme brulee and macarons. These macarons feature L’Occitane’s ingredients from cherry blossom, almond, rose, lavender, lemon citrue and bergamot, among others. You can also try one of Provence’s traditional candies, Calissons – air flown from Provence!

To avoid disappointment you are encouraged to register at experienceloccitane.com to skip the queue during your visit.

Walk-ins will have to queue and register, but those who would just like to experience the cafe can skip registration.
