CONSTIPATION is a health condition where one’s bowel movement occurs less than two or three times per week.
According to consultant physician, geriatrician and healthy ageing specialist Datuk Dr Rajbans Singh, the biggest group of people suffering from constipation are older individuals.
Besides ageing, having insufficient fibre in one’s diet, not drinking enough water, immobility and physical inactivity can contribute to constipation.
