NAZA Euro Motors, the official distributor of Citroen and DS vehicles in Malaysia, has introduced its latest Citroen-DS Merdeka campaign for the upcoming 61st Merdeka celebrations from now to Aug 31.

The campaign involves the C4 Picasso and new DS5 at an on-the-road price without insurance of RM105,600 and RM168,888 respectively for all Malaysians to enjoy before the SST is implemented in September.

Both models are accompanied by a standard five-year warranty with unlimited mileage and 24-hour Roadside Assistance.

The new DS5 can be had in colour five options of Blue Encre, Pearl White, Artense Grey, Noir Perla Nera and Whisper Purple, while being readily identifiable by a number of ‘DS’ accoutrements that can be found on the front grille, LED Vision Xenon headlights and DRLs as well as the front-end’s monogram.

Inside, owners can appreciate the cabin’s aviation-inspired cockpit with intuitively-designed toggle switches, Denon Hi-Fi audio system with Apple Carplay, Android Auto, Mirrorlink and Bluetooth connectivity.

The DS5 is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine that’s paired to the latest generation EAT6 six-speed automatic transmission that can deliver 40% faster gear shifts with a wider gear ratio range for quicker pickup performance.

The C4 Picasso multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) hat boasts of a stylish exterior with its sweeping windscreen and generous amounts of interior space as well as five colour options including Polar White, Kyanos Blue Metallic, Onyx Black, Aluminium Metallic and Ruby Red Metallic.

Highlights of the French MPV include new Chevrons detailing, coupled by its unmistakable daytime running lights (DRLs), fog lights and signature rear LED light clusters to make the C4 Picasso instantly recognizable.

Inside, it boasts of a segment-leading boot space with a 630-litre capacity that’s expandable to 1,709 litres.

The powertrain is a similar 1.6-litre turbocharged (165hp /240Nm) engine mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox with Quickshift Technology that manages output to the front wheels.

The DS5’s aviation-inspired cockpit is infused with modernity and a vast dose of visibility. The split upper and lower lights give the C4 Picasso its one-of-a-kind identity.
