Comfortable and cooling
GOODNITE offers quality comfort since 1989 with a vision of becoming Malaysia’s No.1 mattress brand.
Over the course of 30 years, Goodnite has been committed to the goal of engineering a mattress that exceeds the standard expectations of body contour support.
The sustained efforts of Goodnite’s engineers have recently resulted in Bianca Elsa – a mattress that provides the seemingly impossible experience of sleeping on a cloud.
At the leading edge of Goodnite’s catalogue of offerings, Bianca Elsa represents the epitome of recent technological developments and a convergence of multiple innovations in material engineering, made possible by Goodnite’s research and development efforts in recent years.
IcyYarn
Perhaps the single most defining feature of the Bianca Elsa mattress is the use of IcyYarn filaments – a revolution in nano-scale material engineering that ensures the mattress remains cool to the touch.
While other brands have attempted to produce mattresses that conduct heat away from the body for better quality sleep, no other mattress can demonstrate the long-lasting cooling effects comparable to the Bianca Elsa. This is because mattresses with purported cooling effects are merely coated with conductive minerals and chemicals in post-processing treatments, while Goodnite’s manufacturing processes have yet to be matched by any other home-grown manufacturer.
StatFree technology
While other Goodnite mattresses have previously featured StatFree carbon filaments, Bianca Elsa is the first to have its carbon filaments intertwined with the encasing fabrics for complete coverage and consistent static neutralisation across the entire mattress.
Goodnite engineers regularly wheel out their very own Van der Graaf generator (essentially a miniature Tesla coil) to demonstrate the surprising effects of fabrics imbued with StatFree carbon filaments.
Those bold enough are invited to touch the generator for a reminder as to why static disrupts sleep, while the rest of us, with a healthy respect for electricity are astonished when fingertips wrapped in StatFree escape without a jolt.
Dual layer pocketed coil system
Another recent development that sets the Bianca Elsa apart is Goodnite’s patented dual layer pocketed coil system. Pocketed coils are a familiar idea and a largely expected feature of most mattresses – many may recall the common trope of a steamroller or an elephant trampling over half a mattress while a person remains happily asleep on the other half.
While traditionally wired together into a single mass, pocketed springs are wrapped in fabric casings so each spring individually provides support without transferring motion and potentially disrupting sleep.
Goodnite’s revolutionary idea was to stack two layers of pocketed springs, resulting in a bottom layer of extra-strength springs that retain its resistance even after years of regular use and a top layer of more responsive springs individually sized to support specific areas of the body without transferring motion to adjacent springs.
Natural eco foam – Oil palm memory foam
In addition to providing long-lasting cooling, static neutralisation, and targeted support of body contours without amplifying the slightest of movements, Bianca Elsa utilises ecologically sustainable(1) oil palm residue in the composition of its memory foam layer.
While this natural alternative to liquid plastic resins is more pricey, the trade-off is one of sustainability over profitability – a sentiment that ecologically responsible people can readily subscribe to.
