MANAGEMENT & Science University (MSU) launched an upgraded version of its e-learning platform recently.
The MSU Online Distance e-Learning (MODeL) aims to enable an equal learning experience through access for all MSU students, including soon-to-be members of the university’s alumni.
“The aim of online learning is to support those unable to be present as part and parcel of the campus community,” says MSU president Prof Tan Sri Datuk Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid.
In the fast-paced 21st century where time is a commodity, MODeL provides an effective recourse to alumni in their quest for lifelong learning and career progression.
No longer confined to a particular space – neither the classroom nor library – access to knowledge through information has changed tremendously. Technology is changing the learning environment and becoming a tool that supports learning. Why, then, still be in university?
