Healthy options gone wrong
Often used as a “healthy” option at fast food restaurants, coleslaw contains around 15g of sugar per serving. Although its GI value is lower in comparison to other food items on the menu, the sugar content in the dressing is not to be ignored as it still contributes to rising blood sugar levels.
You can always make a healthier version at home. After all, this is an incentive for you to eat your vegetables.
