FIRST of all, I would like to give a big thumbs up to FIABCI Malaysia for organising such a prestigious property award that pushes the standard of the overall quality of development in Malaysia.
FIABCI Malaysia has been a pioneer in organising property award, in fact the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Award also used the Malaysia Property Award assessment criteria as the blueprint.
I have always been told that the Malaysia Property Award is a very prestigious property award in Malaysia for its stringent, independent and fair judging process. I’m deeply impressed and amazed by the judging criteria as it is very thorough.
It is fascinating to see excellent development projects emerging in the industry that take the community benefits, environment friendliness and energy conservation into consideration, all thanks to the Malaysia Property AwardTM organising committee for their continuous effort to review the judging criteria to follow the trends and demands of the market.
It is very important that developers keep themselves updated to the latest trends in the development and innovation as the world is changing fast. What used to be the largest demand in the market of the old days may be eliminated by time.
For example, office and retail properties are facing challenges nowadays due to the uprising of virtual offices and online shopping platforms. Developers have to think out of the boxes and be creative to moving along with the ever-changing trends.
