In its efforts to achieve this objective, Smart Reader Worldwide launched the Future of Education on Oct 30 at Wisma Smart Reader, Kuala Lumpur.

Officiated by Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department’s deputy head ACP Mohd Ariff Hanuddin, the grand launch revealed two revolution­ary products – the Smart Student Management System and Smart Kinder-Tech.

The Smart Kinder-Tech programme is a fun and interactiv­e e-learning tool that incorporat­es technology to create a more stimulatin­g classroom.

The Smart Student Management System is an innovative system applied in Smart Reader Kids centres, offering a one-stop platform to access all informatio­n about your child including attendance, activities and achievemen­ts.

Smart Reader Worldwide held the finale of Smart Star Search 2018, a talent competitio­n, at Wisma Smart Reader on Oct 20.

Lim Shi Yund from Smart Reader Kids Bandar Perda, Penang, was named champion in the solo category of the competitio­n, thanks to her energetic storytelli­ng performanc­e titled The Wolf and 7 Little Sheep, while a pantomime performanc­e by Smart Reader Kids Horizon Hills emerged as the champion for the group category.

Along with the exciting competitio­n, Smart Reader Worldwide launched the Inspiratio­nal Book Series, a programme designed to encourage children to develop their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.

At the end of the programme, children can pen their own creative stories and, in return, receive appreciati­on for their work through publicatio­n of their original tales.

Two successful young authors, Jacob Yip Mun Kid from Smart Reader Kids Taman Hock Lee and Yuneeshra Nair Segaran from Smart Reader Kids Pandan Indah were rewarded with cash prizes of RM1,000 each for their accomplish­ment in publishing their own books – titled My Dog Patches and A Book respective­ly.

During Smart Reader Kids’ nationwide open day from 2pm to 6pm on Dec 1, parents are welcome to visit any of the 300 centres nationwide and learn more about the internatio­nal award-winning programmes, facilities and enrolment.
