MANAGEMENT & Science University (MSU) recently launched the MSU JobMatch Portal at the MSU Career

Fair 2018.

The event was open to MSU’s alumni and final-year students as well as members of the public. It provided recruiters and jobseekers with a platform on which to exchange informatio­n on available job opportunit­ies across industries.

Attending the launch of the MSU JobMatch Portal was Federation of Malaysian Manufactur­ers Selangor chairman Jacob Lee Chor Kok. The launch was officiated by MSU president Prof Tan Sri Datuk Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, who expounded the advantage of talent matching.

“For any company to be successful, finding the right talent is important. Find people who share your vision and understand the industry’s competency demands. Jobmatchin­g strengthen­s the workforce by ensuring the right talent goes to the right industry,” said Prof Mohd Shukri.

Some members of industry that attended the JobMatch Portal launch at the MSU Career Fair 2018 were Top Glove, Schlumberg­er, Malaysian Institute of Accountant­s, Marriott Internatio­nal, Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Tune Hotels, Pharmaniag­a and Institut Jantung Negara.

The MSU Career Fair 2018 was organised by the university’s industrial linkages and entreprene­urship department while the MSU JobMatch Portal was developed by its Continuing and Extended Education Centre.
