A special delivery this season
ATRIA Shopping Gallery, the iconic family neighbourhood mall in Damansara Jaya, revealed a season special delivery straight from beach town California – the 3D figurine of the Autobot Transformers, Bumblebee.
Brought in exclusively to Atria in anticipation of the blockbuster action adventure film Bumblebee, which opens in cinemas nationwide on Dec 20, the mall also kicks off its Christmas campaign ‘A BumblebeeChristmas’ from now to Jan 1 at the Ground Floor, Centre Court.
This coming Christmas, Atria in partnership with United International Pictures presents the coolest and funniest Transformers Character – Bumblebee. On launching day, Atria is honoured to have invited United International Pictures managing director, Nicholas Yong, MBO Cinemas chief operating officer, Cheah Chun Wai and MBO Cinemas Strategy and Growth director, Ikmal Nizam to launch “A Bumblebee Christmas” campaign and unveil the Bumblebee 3D Statue together with VIPs from Atria Shopping Gallery, OSK Property Berhad Property Investment chief executive officer, Caroline Wong and Atria Shopping Gallery Retail Management director, Lee Beng Beng.
Two newly released movie trailers were also screened during the launch.
Throughout the campaign, Bumblebee fans will have the opportunity to experience and celebrate Christmas with the iconic character through various activities and get exclusive Bumblebee merchandise by Hasbro.
Shoppers can stand face-to-face and check out the 3D statue display of Bumblebee from the movie and explore the garage at Ground Floor, Centre Court where the iconic Volkswagen Beetle car is also on display for photo opportunities.
Besides the Transformers costume competition and Bumblebee colouring competition, TransMY – the biggest Transformers fan group in Malaysia will be displaying its exclusive collection of Bumblebee toys, which is open to the public for free.

Shoppers are encouraged to be part of the campaign by participating in the #BeeAtAtria photo competition on Instagram. Just take a selfie with Bumblebee or the Volkswagen Beetle Car on display at the Centre Court, post it on Instagram with #BeeAtAtria, tag @ AtriaDJ and stand a chance to win exclusive merchandise.
Shopping in Atria always gives you more this holiday season. Shoppers can redeem a special limited edition Bumblebee key chain with 300 Atria Points at the Concierge Counter, Ground Floor.
