Keen on more events

-

THE Rift at Mid Valley Megamall has announced its focus and commitment to the video gaming and cosplay community by promising to promote more gaming and cosplay community events of all types in the year 2019.

To this end The Rift plans to hold gaming events based on traditional franchises that customers can play at home like Mobile Legends, as well as less traditional esports tournaments utilising VR experiences such as the critically acclaimed Zero Latency and Hado.

During these community events, cosplay will have a starring role with members of the community being invited to show off their best costumes to other fans.

The Rift aims for these events to be community focused, with a strong emphasis on the fun and community that comes with video gaming, as well as cosplay.

By being a major gathering spot for people in the anime, cosplay and games community, it hopes to be an active gathering spot for Malaysians looking for an engaging place to spend their time that matches their tastes and interests.

The Rift has already started playing an active role in the community with the Beat Saber tournament in mid December, as well as its large community events, including the World Cosplay Summit, and the Cosplay Festival 3.

The Rift is run by Adventuria Sdn Bhd and touts itself as the latest in mall entertainment, blending the latest in virtual reality with physical activity while showcasing the best digital entertainment software in the world.
