For the first time ever in Asia, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards will be hosted in Singapore in June in the form of gala awards, bespoke dinners, interactive masterclasses and live discussions. Not to be missed for passionate foodies is the marquee event Singapore Food Festival. Get ready to savour the best local delicacies at the only food festival dedicated to Singaporean culinary talents and breadth of unique local dining experiences.
Experience the melting pot of local and international art
Culture shapers can discover their inner creativity as 2019 kicks off with Singapore Art Week (SAW). Art takes over the beautiful city for nine days in January, transforming it into a veritable gallery with exhibitions, art trails, talks, art fairs and large-scale art projections. Presented as part of the seventh edition of SAW are the inaugural S.E.A. Focus boutique art fair and the Frieze Academy Series. Action seekers from around the world are expected to flock to Grand Prix Season Singapore, as the iconic 2019 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix makes its 12th appearance in September.
The 2019 roster includes a calendar of world-class sporting action for the action seekers such as the HSBC Women’s Champions Singapore, HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Fight Night Singapore and Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon. Not just for sports fans, each event features accompanying lifestyle activities that will thrill the whole family.
Soccer fans can watch the best in the world compete and chase the adrenaline, as Singapore will once again host the JSSL Singapore International 7’s followed by the International Champions Cup.
