Jemput Makan returns this festive season
SUNWAY Resort Hotel & Spa’s annual Jemput Makan themed buffet returns this Ramadan at The Resort Café.
Featuring over 400 authentic dishes cooked up by a brigade of chefs led by The Resort Café sous chef tournant Chef Mohamad Yatim Supaat who has over 20 years of experience working in local and international hotels.
The team is set to tantalise the local palates with a multitude of mouth-watering selections served indoor on the restaurant’s expansive buffet spread and outdoor with 10 food highlights in bazaar-style stations with liveaction cooking from now until June 4, serving nightly from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
Inspired by the proverbial invitation and expression Jemput Makan, diners are invited to soak up the bustling energy of The Resort Café, and be enticed by the interactivity, aromas and flavours of the nostalgic and traditional dishes from Malaysia and around the region.
The Resort Café, located at the Lobby Level of Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa is priced at RM188 nett per adult and RM98 nett per child (aged between six and 12).
For those dining on June 1 to 4, there will be a 40% off the buffet price for both adult and child.
Taking centre stage are 10 main stall highlights served outdoors where a multitude of offerings from savoury to sweet awaits.
Diners are invited to step outside the restaurant where a bustling Ramadan Bazaar-like concept of live-action stations awaits, filling the air with enticing aromas.
The 10 stalls include the Assam Pedas Gearbox Station, Churrasco Station, Seafood Bakar Station, Golek Station, Kawah Station, Warisan Station, Noodle Station, Nasi Station, Satay Station and Goreng-goreng Station.
During the two days of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, diners can celebrate with family and friends at The Resort Café where a high tea and dinner celebration buffet is available at RM88 nett and RM125 nett per adult respectively on June 5 and 6, from 12.30pm to 3.30pm for high tea and 6.30pm to 10.30pm for dinner.
Terms and conditions apply. For group berbuka puasa gatherings of 60 pax or more, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa offers specially tailored buffet menus for those interested in organising private or special get-togethers during the season.
Private events can be organised at the newly refurbished pillarless Grand Lagoon Ballroom which seats over 2,200 persons, or in any of the over 60 function rooms in the hotel. Buffet menus are priced according to the buffet selections.
