In celebration of teachers
TEACHERS are important to us. Many of us have very fond memories of our teachers and we will cherish them for life. In conjunction with Teacher’s Day which was celebrated yesterday, our readers pay tribute to their favourite teachers.
“Mrs Lau Choy Lian is my hero. She is kind, gentle and she makes English lessons so much fun,” writes Tamara Parameswaran, nine.
Chiu Tian Zhong, 10, admires his English teacher. “I like her very much as she tries her best to make us understand the subject.”
“Miss Chen is kind and patient. She teaches us Chinese and Moral studies,” says Chua Zi Xin, nine.
“Mrs Tan is a good and caring teacher. I wish to be a teacher like her when I am older,” says Cynthia Lau, nine.
Gwyneth Fun, six, simply writes, “My favourite teacher is my art teacher, Ms. Tang.”
Nine-year-old Han Einn admires her Chinese language teacher, Mrs Tan. “She is so kind and thoughtful. Plus, she has lovely eyes.”
