MANAGEMENT & Science University (MSU) is one of Malaysia’s top universities. Through its foundation programme, MSU offers seven areas of specialisation – science biology/health science, information technology, law, business, engineering and technology, visual art and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL).
The Foundation (Science Biology/health Science) is a good option for students with a keen interest in medical and health sciences. It is ideal for those who want to become medical practitioners. Students may continue to the Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) upon completing this foundation programme. The MBBS course is offered under MSU’S International Medical School at its main campus in Shah Alam and overseas campus in Bangalore, India.
Alternatively, students may progress into bachelor’s programmes in biomedical science, food service technology, medical sciences, optometry, nutrition, forensic science, cardiovascular technology, pharmaceutical technology and pharmacy at MSU, all of which are under its Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and School of Pharmacy.
Another option is the Foundation in Information Technology, which is designed to meet the escalating demand for highly trained and skilled professionals in various areas of information technology. Areas of specialisation MSU students may choose at the bachelor’s level include mobile wireless and technology, computer science and computer forensics, which are programmes offered under the Faculty of Information Sciences & Engineering.
For those interested in law and commerce, the Foundation in Law could be a perfect fit. Students who have completed this programme will be able to enrol in the Bachelor in Law and Commerce programme at MSU.
The Foundation in Business is designed in view of the increasing demand for business management and accounting professionals. Areas of specialisation students may choose at the bachelor’s level at MSU include international business, accountancy, investment management and human capital management, under the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies.
The Foundation in Visual Art, Foundation in Engineering and Technology and Foundation in TESL were designed to meet the need for highly skilled experts in the nation’s creative, technology and education industries. Graphic design, games design and animation, creative multimedia, computer engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical engineering and TESL are just a few of the areas of specialisation foundation graduates can choose thanks to the offering of MSU’S Faculty of Information Sciences & Engineering and School of Education and Social Sciences.
