Big win at MFA Awards
SMART Reader Worldwide, the frontrunner in early childhood education in Malaysia, has added another feather to its cap during the recent Malaysia Franchise Awards (MFA) 2019.
The company was conferred the Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award at the momentous event held on
Oct 4 in Royale Chulan, Kuala Lumpur for its efforts in the
One Child One Hope (OCOH) Education Scholarship Programme. The OCOH programme, established by
Smart Reader Worldwide co-founder, Datin Sri Dauk’ Dr KH Wang, makes it the first early childhood education provider in Malaysia to provide scholarships to pre-schoolers. It was her vision to be able to provide equal opportunity and access to quality early years learning to all.
The MFA night also represents a double celebration as not only Smart Reader Worldwide won the prestigious Best CSR award, but its franchisee, Nazreena Devi and Liyana Nisha – mother-daughter duo from Smart Reader Kids Bayu Mutiara, Bukit Mertajam, Penang took home the Best Homegrown Franchisee of the Year Award 2019 during the same event. This comes as no surprise as the fraternity of franchisees at Smart Reader Worldwide has always been known to be dedicated, passionate and committed in upholding quality early years education in each and every centre.
Smart Reader Worldwide executive director Kevan Ong says, “The recognitions conferred to us will certainly inspire us to push to greater heights to strive to provide the best early childhood education experience for the children of the world”.
