There is a new delivery service and Death Stranding receives multiple nominations.
NEW delivery services are always popping up and the latest is from Grab but it’s only trialling it in the Klang Valley.
Grabmart will allow you to purchase items from pharmacies, grocery stores, florists and even a bookstore.
Delivery fee ranges from RM5 to RM9, depending on the distance and is currently available in areas such as Damansara Uptown, Bandar Utama, Taman Tun Dr Ismail and Mont Kiara.
Users will also be able to track their delivery through the app.
Meanwhile, Whatsapp said it has fixed a flaw that could potentially let hackers access a phone remotely by sending a malicious MP4 video file.
The flaw called CVE-2019-11931 allows hackers to install malicious code using a “specially-crafted MP4 file” which will allow them to view the user’s messages.
To fix the flaw users will have to update their Whatsapp app to the latest version. The bug affects Android versions prior to 2.19.274 and IOS versions earlier than 2.19.100.
In a statement to website The Next Web, Whatsapp claimed it’s not aware of any users being hit by the malware.
“We make public reports on potential issues we have fixed consistent with industry best practices. In this instance, there is no reason to believe users were impacted,” it said.
In other news, nominations for Game Awards 2019 is out. Hideo Kojima’s much talked-about Death Stranding received multiple nominations including for Game of the Year, Best Game Direction and Best Art Direction.
Actors Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen both received Best Performance nominations for their roles in Death Stranding.
Other nominees for Game of the Year are Control, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and The Outer Worlds.
In the Best Mobile Game category, nominees include Call of Duty: Mobile, Sky: Children of Light and What The Golf?.
The Game Awards also feature an esports Awards segment where titles like Fortnite and League Of Legends are nominated for Best esports Game.
Award winners will be announced on Dec 12 at an event in Los Angeles, United States.
