HOLIDAYS can be expensive, especially when you need to pay for everyone in the family. Here are some school holiday ideas on what to do and where to go depending on your budget, ranging from free ($) to luxurious ($$$$).

Hiking $

Go on a trek at a nearby recreational forest. Be sure to select one that is suitable for your kids. Younger kids can try easier trails, while teenagers can go on longer ones. Always wear proper hiking footwear and bring environmentally-friendly insect repellent.

Cycling $-$$

There are several parks that cater to cyclists in Malaysia. If you don’t have a bike, you can borrow from a friend or shop, or rent one at the park.

Picnic $$

Pack a light lunch, some board games, or even a ball and head for the park for a lovely picnic.
