Youtube star launches a makeup palette
RENOWNED beauty Youtuber Nikkie de Jager, who enjoys a massive following for her Nikkietutorials, has joined forces with Beauty Bay to launch her own eyeshadow palette.
The much-anticipated limited edition of vibrant colours which went on sale on August 31 is exclusively available from Beautybay.com.
With more than 14 million followers on Instagram and no less than 13.5 million subscribers to her Nikkietutorials Youtube channel, 26-year-old de Jager – a Dutch makeup artist and beauty vlogger – is one of the best-known beauty influencers in the world today. The Youtube star herself took charge of the selection of the 20 eyeshadow colours included in the palette, which is also equipped with two mirrors including one magnifying one.
As you might expect, this is a very vibrantly coloured palette, with each of the shades appearing bolder than the next, an overall impression that is further enhanced by a range of matte, glitter and bi-chromic finishes.
And not surprisingly, the names chosen for each of the shades, which include “Amsterdamn”, “Mr Tutorials”, “Underground” and “Pride”, are evocative of the life story and the personality of the renowned Youtuber.
