The best private and international schools

-

THE international school market in Malaysia has grown tremendously in the last decade.

Parents nowadays have the option of sending their children to one of 170 international schools across the country.

Since 2012, Mint Communications has been connecting parents and their children with international schools through the Private and International School Fairs. They organise the largest international school fair in Malaysia, which is held in Kuala Lumpur twice a year at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre.

The fairs in Johor and Penang have attracted local and expatriate parents from Japan, South Korea, China, India and Singapore among others. The first Private and International School Fair in Ipoh will also make its debut this year.

According to Mint Communications co-founder and director Nickie Yew, “Even in the midst of Covid-19, we believe parents still prioritise their children’s education and want to find the best option for them. The Private and International School Fairs in Ipoh, Johor and Penang will adhere strictly to the SOPs set by the Malaysian National Security Council (MKN).”

The first Private and International School Fair in Ipoh will be held on Sept 27 at Weil Hotel, Ipoh; while the 11th Private and International School Fair in Johor will be held on Oct 3 at Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri. The ninth Private and International School Fair in Penang will be held on Oct 11 at Hotel Jen Penang.

Exhibitors at the upcoming fairs that offer boarding facilities include City Harbour International School, Kolej Yayasan UEM, Marlborough College Malaysia, Prince of Wales Island International School, Raffles American School, Seri Botani International School, Shattuck-St Mary’s Forest City International School, Sunway International School, Sunway Iskandar; The International School of Penang (Uplands) and Westlake International School.
