This programme provides students with a strong foundation in technical and basic skills and knowledge on the overall tourism industry. Students will be exposed to the main disciplines required in the modern management of the global hospitality industry. The curriculum places equal emphasis on the development of effective communication, research, planning and event management skills.
The two-and-a-half-year programme gives students sufficient hands-on skills to excel in the industry.
Students will be able to broaden their knowledge in handling the travel and tourism industry such as hotels and resorts, airlines, visitor attractions and tour and travel operators.
Students must obtain a minimum of three credits in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM/SPMV) or certificate from polytechnic, or institute of higher education to qualify for this programme.
With a diploma from MSU College, students will obtain a credit transfer upon enrolling into the Management and Science University (MSU).
This ensures a place for the students during the second year of bachelor’s degree level at MSU through its School of Hospitality and Creative Arts.
