You too can relax like BTS
K-POP fans will get the chance to relax like BTS at a vacation residence the supergroup stayed at in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
The expansive property, where the seven-member outfit resided during filming of the second season of reality series In The Soop, is now listed on Airbnb for an overnight stay.
“Guests will get the chance to find a moment of peace in the lush countryside of South Korea’s Gangwon region – just as the seven members did while enjoying everyday life and rest,” Airbnb said in a statement.
The show follows the BTS members – Jin, Suga, J-hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – as they take a break from their busy lives in the city.
Airbnb said guests will stay at the property where the boys resided in season two, which is a part of a larger estate.
The one-night stay on Aug 29 will immerse two lucky guests in the various elements the K-pop group personally enjoyed during their time on property.
These include specially catered dishes like charcoal grilled Korean beef (which the band referred to as “the best taste in the universe” in the show) and tteokbokki, or simmered rice cakes.
Guests will also get to enjoy some of the amenities that appeared on the show and a karaoke machine with all of BTS’ hit songs.
Malaysians can access the listing from Aug 2. More information is available at airbnb.com/inthesoopbts.
Closer to home, the home rental platform recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation to drive Malaysia’s green growth agenda.
The collaboration will support Malaysia’s target of becoming a carbon-neutral nation by 2050 as stipulated in the 12th Malaysia Plan.
Key areas of collaboration include conducting sustainability workshops for accommodation providers and co-creating an energy conservation guide for homestay listings in Malaysia.
Both parties will also work to empower Malaysians to reduce their carbon footprint and adopt more sustainable travel habits. –
