Chia is UM Land new CEO

PETALING JAYA: United Malayan Land Bhd (UM Land) has appointed Chia Lui Meng as its group CEO effective yesterday. Chia succeeded Pee Tong Lim who retired last February.

Chia’s responsibilities include the strategic direction and overall management and operations of UM Land and its subsidiaries.

Chia, who graduated from University of London with a Bachelor of Laws degree, and from University of Technology Malaysia with a Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons), was Malton Bhd CEO, and Naza TTDI Sdn Bhd adviser to group managing director.
