Optimax opens 11th branch, eyes regional expansion
KUALA LUMPUR: Optimax Eye Specialist Sdn Bhd has launched its 11th branch in Sri Petaling as part of its expansion plan.
Chief executive officer Sandy Tan said this is in line with the company’s decision to expand its branch network to serve the growing number of clients nationwide.
“We have been growing our brand presence steadily since 1995. As our services involve one of the most delicate human organs, we are cautious and want to ensure that our team of ophthalmologists and the supporting systems are in place before opening another branch,” she said.
The branch was launched by MCA President and Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai who was accompanied by founder and managing director Datuk Tan Boon Hock here yesterday.
Founded in 1995, the eye specialist service provider has served over 120,000 clients from laser refractive treatments to other eye diseases and ocular conditions including cataract and glaucoma.
With a growing client base and network of branches, including a full-fledged eye hospital in Penang, the company has set its sight on the region going forward.
Tan said some of the company’s procedures have a lifetime warranty.
A special price is also offered to clients for follow-up treatments.
The company has also launched the femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery which simplifies and shortens the surgical procedure.
It also offers higher precision compared with the conventional cataract surgery which relies on the skills of the surgeon.
