TRC Synergy wins RM500mil Putrajaya project
PETALING JAYA: Construction outfit TRC Synergy Bhd has won its largest contract year-to-date worth RM500mil from Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd, the master developer of Putrajaya, for the construction and completion of an integrated development project at Precinct 8, Putrajaya.
The RM498.7mil job, won by TRC’s wholly-owned subsidiary Trans Resources Corp Sdn Bhd, swells the construction company’s order book to RM3bil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, TRC Synergy said the project involves the construction of the project over a duration of 57 months, comprises residential towers, podium block, retail space, serviced apartments, common facilities, high street, facilities block for serviced apartments, facility floor, show gallery, event hall, promenade, basement as well as elevated parking and other ancillary works.

Having clinched new contracts in 2018 for a total of RM716mil, TRC Synergy would have a clear revenue and earnings visibility stretching into 2021, said the company.
“We are very confident that TRC Synergy’s contract winning momentum will continue, riding on our existing tenders book as well as new biddings to be participated by the group going forward,” said Sufri.
