Alam Maritim gets Repsol job

PETALING JAYA: Alam Maritim Resources Bhd has secured a five-year contract from Repsol Oil & Gas Malaysia Ltd to provide subsea inspection, maintenance and repair services for Block PM3 in a commercial arrangement area located between Malaysia and Vietnam.

The offshore support vessel service provider said the contract started effectively on June 30, 2020.

“The first vessel mobilisation will be in mid-august,” the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

On the contract’s value, Alam Maritim said it would be as per work order request by Repsol. It said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2020 and thereafter.
