Southern Cable secures SEB contract

PETALINGJAYA: Southern Cable Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Southern Cable Sdn Bhd, has received a contract worth Rm83.2mil from Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) to provide power cables and conductors.

It said in a statement the contract entailed Southern Cable supplying and delivering cables and conductors to SEB’S Distribution Network Division for a period of 18 months starting from November 2022.

Managing director Tun Eng Hai said the contract signified its client’s confidence in its manufacturing capabilities.
