Kelly Clarkson’s new beau

-

KELLY Clarkson ( pic) has been virtually celibate since shedding her last boyfriend, Oklahoma-born rocker Graham Colton in the harsh winter of 2006.

No more! Kelly, 29, told Toronto radio station CHFI earlier this month: “I have a new boyfriend.”

Us Weekly says the lucky guy is Nashville talent manager, Brandon Blackstock, 35, whose dad happens to be Kelly’s own manager, Narvel Blackstock. What’s more, Brandon’s stepmum is none other than Kelly-admired fellow country warbler and actor, Reba Mcentire. An anonymous insider tells Us Brandon is teaching Kelly that love is a good thing. That relationships can work. That she need not live and die alone.

“Before Brandon, Kelly had a really tough time with love,” the source says. “He is just what she needed.”

Kelly’s reps have yet to comment. – The Philadelphia Inquirer/ MCT Information Services

Charlize Theron steps out to honour stylist

FRESH off the announcement of her adoption, actress Charlize Theron ( pic) Big-budget Chinese historical flick Yang Gui Fei – starring leading mainland Chinese star Fan Bingbing, 30, as the titular Tang Dynasty beauty – has run into problems. South Korean director Kwak Jae-yong, 52, has left the production, which started shooting on Jan 29. To quell rumours that Kwak quit after a dispute stepped out to honour her stylist. And though she didn’t deliver her little guy Jackson, she was certainly sporting a maternal glow.

Celebrating her stylist Leslie Fremar, Theron joined other well-heeled actresses at the membersonly Soho House in West Hollywood, where the Hollywood Reporter toasted the people responsible for red carpet looks.

Theron was joined by Katie Holmes, Zoe Saldana, Alice Eve and Bridesmaids gal Ellie Kemper for a luncheon toasting stylemakers including Fremar, Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi (Jennifer Lopez), Elizabeth Stewart (responsible for Theron’s Snow White And The Huntsman co-star Kristen Stewart) and Jen Rade (Angelina Jolie and her leg). – Los Angeles Times/mct Information Services

Annie’s skin

TAIWANESE actress-singer Annie Shizuka Inoh, recently bared her skin so that animals may keep theirs. The petite singer, also known as Yiu Neng Jing, posed for the I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur campaign for American animal rights organisation PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

On her microblog, she urged others not to support the furfarming industry and reminded people to cherish the life of other living beings. The 41year-old was criticised in 2005 for collecting fur coats and for saying she owned more than 50 pieces. But she clarified that only two were genuine fur while the rest were faux. She, obviously, has learned from her mistakes. – Xin MSN Entertainment
