Overseas education closer to home
AS the premier education hub in Asia, Singapore offers a diverse mix of educational services. The island’s strong international reputation for quality education has drawn a legion of the world’s top institutions to set up campuses.
As the saying goes “travel broadens the mind,” students are exposed to new experiences as well as meet people with different experiences. Studies have also shown that students who return from overseas have better communication skills and the confidence to speak out. Meeting new people means encountering different personalities, attitude and ways of thinking. This trains one to be able to think in different perspectives when facing obstacles.
International education holds the key to employment with multilevel corporations overseas or international companies with branches in Malaysia. Networking also comes into play when looking into expanding career prospects.
Setting foot in a foreign land may seem adventurous and exciting if you are on vacation. To pair it up with studies is a whole new experience altogether. Students would need to cope not only with new education structures but also with adapting to a new environment, climate, food, cultures and language.
What Singapore has to offer are the positive aspects of studying overseas without needing to adapt to extreme foreign conditions. It is similar to Malaysia in many ways and parents need not worry about their child - they are easily reachable using just about any means of transport.
Therefore, look no further. With the noticiable increase in demand, AUG Global Network has finally expanded its reach to Singapore in 2011. As one of the leading education placement service centres in Malaysia, AUG provides reputable, trustworthy, efficient and professional service. With over 15 years of experience in assisting students carve their educational paths, AUG has always been fresh and innovative in delivering their services.
This March, AUG will be organising a Study in Singapore Fair with nine institution partners to provide students the opportunity to gather more information on studying in Singapore.
The list of institutions ranges from local private institutes including East Asia Institute of Management (EASB), Kaplan Higher Education Academy, Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS), Raffles College of Design and Commerce, Shatec Institutes, SMA Institute of Higher Learning and SP Jain to foreign universities such as James Cook University and Curtin Singapore.
Students would be able to get first hand information from the universities/institution representatives themselves.
This is the perfect time to clear your doubts on course structures, intakes, fees, accommodation, institute facilities, living cost and others.
During this event, students will also have the opportunity to sign up for a campus visit in Singapore. In addition, AUG has also initiated a Free Ez-link Card campaign in conjunction with promoting Singapore education.
However, students are required to apply and accept the offer into a Singapore institution through AUG in order to be eligible for the promotion.
The card can be used for payment of public transport and selected retail stores.
