PANTAI Hospital Kuala Lumpur (PHKL), which was established in 1974, is a flagship hospital of Pantai Holdings Berhad. The hospital has 332 beds with more than 160 consultants.
PHKL is accredited with Joint Commission International (JCI), Malaysia Society for Quality in Health (MSQH), ISO 9001:2008 and is certified as a baby-friendly hospital.
PHKL boasts several centres of excellence namely Pantai Cancer Institute, Breast Care Centre, Hand and Microsurgery Unit, Spine and Joint Centre and Pantai Heart Centre.
Pantai Cancer Institute offers multi-faceted cancer treatment and therapies led by a team of Medical & Clinical Oncologists and supported by a specialised team medical physicists, radiographer therapist, oncology nurses, counsellors, dieticians and pharmacists.
Dedicated facilities of this institute include a Chemotherapy Daycare Centre and Radiotherapy Unit.
The Breast Care Centre provides screening, consultation and treatment to women with breast-related disorders including benign breast conditions and breast cancer.
The Breast Care Centre has three dedicated breast surgeons and trained breast care nurses and is equipped with two mammography machines, including an advanced digital system. It is also actively involved in breast cancer awareness campaigns.
The Hand and Microsurgery Centre is the first centre in the Malaysian private healthcare sector, providing consultation and surgical and rehabilitative treatment.
The Centre is led by three qualified Consultant Hand & Microsurgeons and supported by a dedicated rehabilitation team specialising in rehabilitation and physiotherapy modules for the upper limbs.
The Spine and Joint Centre aims to be a leading centre for invasive and non-invasive treatments of spine and joint conditions.
In addition to a team of experienced and qualified Orthopaedic Surgeons, the centre also has a comprehensive physical therapy unit which focuses on rehabilitation and patient education to prevent recurring injury.
The Pantai Heart Centre is an integrated one-stop centre offering comprehensive cardiac services under one roof with treatment ranging from simple hole in the heart surgery to the most complex cardiac interventional and surgical operations.
Alongside a glossary of medical achievements, PHKL continuously strive to raise the level of public awareness on various health-related issues through activities, health camps and forums.
