Malaysian media not spared the mind games

A GROUP of Malaysian journalists had to “battle” their way through to the venue after being barred from entering the Wuhan Sports Gymnasium Centre yesterday.

Despite having accredited media passes, none were allowed by the security personnel to go beyond the entrance point following strict instructions from the organisers.

It seems the security personnel had been told that the Malaysian media are not allowed to interview shuttlers fromother nations. Are the organisers playing mind games with the Malaysian media too?

Anyway, thanks to BWF event manager M. Venugopal’s intervention, the media managed to report on Malaysia’s first day of training at the venue.
