soles available, the ballet shoes.

THE beauty of the ballet shoe lies in the fact that they just make your feet look pretty. Not only that, the comfort factor is quite high as well, as you don’t have to worry about pinched toes or balancing.

Ballet shoes are super chic and there’s something elegant about them even if it’s just paired with jeans. To carry it off, wear it with straight legged jeans or trousers, cropped or three-quarter length pants, knee length, full or straight skirts, shift dresses and cocktail dresses.

What they won’t go with are flares, bootlegged jeans or pants, long skirts and long dresses and evening gowns. There’s also a rather young and playful air about ballet shoes, probably because you can also run in them without breaking an ankle!

This season, choose bold colours to make your feet stand out. Texture always works, a little detailing like some glitter or leopard prints, tweed or even quilted. Ballet shoes can be round toed or pointy, two tone or block, anything goes really. And for a pair that will go with everything, pick the classics and get it in both beige and black.
