Using KFDA (Korea Food & Drug Administration) approved polydioxanone, or PDO, fine threads are inserted to lift sagging tissues from the inside and stimulate the proliferation of collagen and elastic collagen in the skin. This technique produces simultaneous skin tightening and face lifting that can last up to 8 months. PDO threads are commonly used in cardiovascular surgery and fine ligatures. They are absorbed by the body over time.
