Rozita denies tryst report

Actress: I didn’t go to London with ex-minister

ACTRESS Rozita Che Wan has rubbished rumours that she went on a vacation to London with a former minister in October, reported Berita Harian.

Saying that she did not even know the minister, the 39-year-old denied a previous report alleging that she and a friend went to London with him on Oct 10.

“Which former minister is this? Where did you get this story from? I don’t understand people who make up stories about me. I don’t even know the man. I’m growing tired of these stories,” she told the daily.

In a report on Nov 4, it was claimed that Rozita and the former minister were seen together in a VIP waiting room at KL International Airport at around 9am before leaving on a flight to London an hour later.

“After going through the flight schedule, it was revealed that Rozita, her friend and the former minister’s names were on the same flight, complete with his title and all!” the report said.

> Metro Ahad reported that three-year-old Aisy Mirza, whose left hand was smashed after it was caught in a coconut milk extractor on Friday, cried because he could no longer play Angry Birds.

“Papa, my hand is gone. I can’t play Angry Birds any more,” cried the little boy as his father Mahadi Mustapa tried to console him.

On the day of the incident, Mahadi, 29, said he took his son to the factory in Kok Lanas, Kota Baru, where he works as a welder.

He said Aisy had climbed onto a chair to take a closer look at the extractor.

“When I went to clean some equipment, I forgot to turn off the extractor. That was when I heard him scream. I ran to see what happened and I saw his hand caught in the machine.”
