Ang May Hong, 9, went out to the mar­ket by her­self to get break­fast and never made it home. Her fa­ther found her body three hours later in an empty house not far from her house in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. She was raped and stran­gled and had a piece of wood shoved par­tially into her vag­ina.

Tin Song Sheng, 7, was ab­ducted from his school of SRJK Ta­man Rasah. It was later re­ported Song Sheng was seen beg­ging near a low-cost hous­ing scheme in Pon­tian, Jo­hor. He was never found.

Aug 17, 2001

S. Ma­niarasi, 4, was ab­ducted at her fam­ily’s gro­cery shop­house in Ta­man Air Bem­ban in Ku­lai. The child’s body was later found float­ing in a reser­voir in Ulu Choh about 50km from their home.

Nu­rul Huda Ab­dul Ghani, 10, was found naked in the guard­house of a Tenaga Na­sional Ber­had (TNB) sub­sta­tion in Kam­pung Peka­jang, Tan­jung Ku­pang in Jo­hor Baru. She had been gang raped and sodomised be­fore be­ing stran­gled. Two sus­pects were ar­rested while a third sus­pect is still at large.

Haser­awati Saridi,

10, was on her way to school in Meng­gatal, Sabah when she was raped and stabbed to death. A 31-year-old drug ad­dict was sen­tenced to death by the Kota Kin­a­balu High Court for her mur­der.

July 6, 2007

Shear­wey Ooi Ying Ying, 4, was re­ported miss­ing from her mother Jess Teh’s car. Teh and her then boyfriend, Ong Chee Leong, were later ar­rested in con­nec­tion with the case. Shear­wey was be­lieved to have been mur­dered, burnt and her bone frag­ments strewn in dif­fer­ent places in Pe­nang.

Nurin Ja­zlin Jaz­imin, 8, went miss­ing af­ter go­ing to a night mar­ket near her home in Wangsa Maju. Her naked body was found stuffed in a sports bag and left out­side a shoplot in Pe­tal­ing Jaya. Her killer is still at large.

Shar­linie Mohd Nashar, 5, went miss­ing while play­ing near her house in Pe­tal­ing Jaya. She has not been found un­til to­day.

June 4, 2010

Nisha Chandramohan, 2, who suf­fers from epilepsy, went out for a walk with her men­tally-ill grandaunt. The aunt was found but the child re­mains miss­ing.

March 1, 2012

Nu­rul Nadi­rah Ab­dul­lah, 5, was re­ported miss­ing af­ter she failed to re­turn af­ter go­ing to a gro­cery shop to buy eggs and in­stant noo­dles. Her charred re­mains were found at a plan­ta­tion in Nusa Da­mai, Jo­hor.

Satishku­mar Tamil­vanan, 5, went miss­ing af­ter he went to buy some sweets at a food court in Jalan Per­matang Pauh, Bukit Mer­ta­jam, at 12.30pm while his lorry driver fa­ther and grand­fa­ther each thought the other had the boy. The boy has not been seen since.
