Voice to soothe frayed nerves during rush hour

-

PETALING Malaysians battling the rush hour will hear radio icon Priscilla Patrick’s ( pic) soothing voice giving out traffic re-ports on Star Radio Group’s Red FM and Capital FM starting today.

She is in charge of producing traffic reports for the two stations, as well as another two stations – Suria FM and 988.

Priscilla and her team of reporters would update listeners with comprehensive and “live” reports every 15 minutes during the breakfast shows (Mondays to Fridays from 6am to 10am) and the drive shows (Mondays to Fridays from 4pm to 8pm).

Priscilla said she was looking forward to her role in the Star Radio Group.

“Change is good and I’m excited about something new. I am glad I have this opportunity with Star Radio Group to start and build a whole new traffic team in three different languages,” she said.

She has been on air for the past 16 years, reporting traffic news during peak hours. Over the years, Priscilla has developed close relationships with the police and highway patrol officers.

“I don’t plan to clear traffic, but I do want to help people stuck in traffic by letting them know what they can expect ahead. I encourage listeners to call in and share their travelling issues,” she added.

Listeners who want to report on traffic conditions can call 037725 1133.
