-

PORT KLANG: It was a heart wrenching sight at the Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah mortuary as the parents and grandparents of a boy who died in a freak accident mourned their loss.

Three-year-old Tan Yong Fu, from Pulau Ketam here, was found lifeless after he was believed to have fallen into the sea while urinating outside a fishing village house at about 10.30am yesterday.

The boy’s parents, who were obviously distraught and sobbing were seen waiting while the grandparents were weeping loudly after they were called in to identify the boy’s remains.

A family relative said Yong Fu was cared for by a babysitter as his parents were working in Klang.

A Klang South district police spokesperson said the boy’s aunt realised that he was missing and conducted a search with other villagers, who found the boy lifeless in the sea.

The boy was then rushed to the Pulau Ketam health clinic before he was pronounced dead.
