Integrated developments set new trends

-

KUALA LUMPUR: Scarcity of development land in Kuala Lumpur is resulting in newer developments with integrated concepts.

Titiwangsa is a thriving Malaysian hospital hub that brings together several medical institutions, highways and transportation infrastructure. However, new catalysts are expected to transform this neighbourhood.

Hospital Kuala Lumpur, recently crowned best hospital brand in Malaysia in the Global Brands Magazine Awards 2016, leads the medical hub with institutions such as KPJ Tawakal Sentosa Medical Centre, National Blood Bank Malaysia and National Heart Institute in providing healthcare to patients.

Existing roads, highways and public transportation infrastructure such as Jalan Pahang, Sentul Link, Middle Ring Road 1 (MRR1 – Jalan Tun Razak and Lebuhraya Sultan Iskandar), Sentul KTM Station and Titiwangsa stations for the Ampang LRT and KL Monorail make this hospital hub easily accessible to the public.

New growth to the property market in this neighbourhood is expected with the introduction of new developments such as the upcoming Titiwangsa station for the Sungai Buloh–Serdang–Putrajaya MRT Line, Duta–Ulu Kelang Expressway Phase 2 (Duke2) and the transformation of Klang River to the River of Life (ROL).

Ekovest managing director Datuk Seri Lim Keng Cheng said the seamless integration of the Kuala Lumpur River City (KLRC) master plan with urban transportation offered via Duke and the upcoming MRT2 line will rejuvenate the area.

The availability of leisure spaces, modern office suites and tourist attractions to showcase the diversity of Malaysian culture and shopping amenities will make this project popular.

Such integrated developments and others will be showcased at StarProperty.my Fair 2016 @ Sunway Pyramid from today till April 10, from 10am to 10pm.

Established developers IJM Land Bhd and Ekovest Bhd are participating as premium partners of the fair.
