STUDENTS looking for a firstclass education to help them achieve their career aspiration­s can look at the Sheffield University Management School as an option.

Recent graduates on this programme have gone on to jobs such as trainee accountant, client reporting officer, audit associate, compliance analyst, tax advisor and risk consultant.

The Bachelor of Arts in Business Management covers the core business functions, such as strategy, human resources, operations management and marketing with the opportunit­y to specialise as the programme progresses. The flexible nature of the programme means graduates are able to pursue a wide range of careers, with recent jobs including media assistant and tv buyer, retail manager, finance analyst, project manager and marketing manager.

The Bachelor of Arts in Internatio­nal Business Management is a truly internatio­nal programme with the second year spent at one of the school’s prestigiou­s overseas partner universiti­es. This programme gives students all the skills they need to understand global business practice. Recent graduates of this programme have gone on to jobs such as assistant manager, copywriter, internatio­nal operations assistant and brand manager.

Here, profession­al career advisors work with students to identify the right career option for while providing personalis­ed advice and skills training.

“Our Careers Discovery Series gives you insight into different career options with a wide range of guest speakers. There are specialist employabil­ity skills developmen­t sessions and we also advertise parttime jobs, internship­s and year-long placements.”
