KELANTAN police are investigating a viral sex video, apparently involving secondary school students, to ascertain if the indecent act was committed in the state.

Harian Metro reported that the one-and-a-half-minute clip showed three teenage boys and a girl committing lurid carnal acts at an unidentified open space while still in their school uniforms.

State police chief Datuk Dr Ab Rahman Ismail said his team was also investigating whether the acts were consensual or if there were other factors at play.

“We will also work with the state Education Department on this case,” he said.

> The Raub magistrate’s court has called for a stop to further logging and land clearing near the Hulu Teranum forest reserve until March 17 in a bid to find proof that the activities would not affect local communities and tourists, Kosmo! reported.

Magistrate Mohammad Ibrahim Mohamad Gulam said the activities could cause ecological disasters such as flash floods and land erosion as well as badly affect fresh water sources in the area.

He also ordered the parties involved, YRQ Plantation Trading and Zulkilfli Sulaiman, chairman of the Kampung Sungai Delam replanting committee, to be present in court on the same date to provide evidence that the activities were not detrimental to local residents.

The decision was made following an injunction filed by Pertubuhan Pelindung Khazanah Alam Malaysia to stop logging activities in the area.
