Andy Lau needs rehabilita­tion

Cantopop star still cannot sit up three weeks after riding mishap

ALMOST three weeks after he was injured in a horse riding accident, Cantopop star Andy Lau ( pic) still cannot sit up, reported Guang Ming Daily.

Actor Kent Cheng, who visited Lau at a hospital in Hong Kong, said he was doing well but had to undergo rehabilita­tion.

Lau had flown back to Hong Kong for treatment after in the Jan 17 incident while filming a commercial near Bangkok.

“He should be able to sit up very soon. His voice is much clearer now. Those who are concerned about him need not worry. He is recovering well,” said Cheng, who visited Lau with actor Eddie Cheung.

Others who had paid Lau a visit at the hospital were Cantopop star Alan Tam, actress Sammi Cheng and actor Felix Wong.

> A man, who was previously caught for taking upskirt pictures, splashed a cup of semen at a woman after pleasuring himself at a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, reported China Press.

During the 5pm incident on Monday, the woman, who felt a stickly liquid running down her clothes and legs, alerted the mall’s security guards to stop the man as he quickly walked away.

Initially, the man had denied committing the offence but knelt down to beg for forgivenes­s after he was shown CCTV footage of him committing the act.

The woman had since lodged a police report over the matter and related the incident on her Facebook page with pictures.

Police said the man was not a first-time offender as he was previ- ously arrested for taking upskirt pictures of women.

> Guang Ming Daily reported that a woman in Xiaxi, China, was saved from falling off a seven-storey building when her husband grabbed on to her hair.

Two policemen, who were at the scene, also rushed to pull the woman, known only as Kang in her 30s, to safety.

During the incident on Sunday, Kang had argued with her husband before going to the top of the building and tried to jump off the building. According to one of the policemen, Kang would have fallen to her death if her husband failed to hold on to her hair for a few more seconds.
